Native Oak trees anchor this residential landscape tucked into an expansive open space preserve.  The ethic of environmental conservation and stewardship enshrined in the surrounding preserve dictated that the new home and landscape be sited delicately around existing trees, grasslands, and topography.

When planning began, the 20-acre site was completely untouched.  The client desired simple, elegant designs that respond aesthetically and ethically to the qualities of the site without disturbing its inherent wildness.

This large-scale residential landscape exemplifies respect for place through integration of natural and man-made elements.
